The Surface Mount Induction Gate is equipped with a flat metal mounting plate which allows it to be permanently anchored to the supporting wall structure (Note: concrete blocks must be grouted/filled to support installation). Recommended installation of the gate is approximately 2” (5cm) off the finished floor, and a minimum of 28” (71cm) from a room corner. Padding of the gate is not offered.

Floor Mount Treatment Stock
The Shank’s® Floor Mount Treatment Stock has been designed to hold a horse for routine examination and treatment. The stock is fabricated from mild steel which is hot dip galvanized for durability and protection. It is equipped with the following standard features:

Recessed Induction Gate
The Recessed Induction Gate is designed to be recessed into a constructed cavity in the wall that is approximately 5” deep x 52” high x 86” long (13cm x 132cm x 218 cm). An upper angle iron header is furnished that must be incorporated into the wall cavity. Also, a square tube structural support is included that will act as the anchor point for the gate when it is mounted. Recommended installation of the gate is a minimum of 28” (71cm) from a room corner. When the gate is closed, it becomes flush with the surrounding wall surface. Padding of the gate is not offered.
Stationary Floor Model Surgery Table
The Shank’s® Stationary Floor Model Surgery Table is designed to be anchored to the floor in a recessed pit and be flush with the surrounding floor. This model is used in a combined surgery/recovery room where knockdown of the animal, subsequent surgery and recovery, is all done in the same room. All hydraulic lines for operation of the table run through a conduit in the floor into an adjacent room where the power unit and controls are to be located. As an option, the table can be permanently mounted to the floor in a standard surgery room, and have the power unit and controls self contained on the table frame.
By utilizing both the standard and optional accessories, this table can easily be adapted to support an animal in dorsal or lateral recumbency.
